And of course, Jamie is going to be hanged. Again. Why can't this man catch a break? First he loses Young Ian, then he's horribly sea sick, then they take his wife, then they lock him up, now they want him for treason and murder. Can our boy just get a small sliver of happiness now that his wife is home? Please. It's not too much to ask.
Claire manages to mostly contain the outbreak on the ship, which the captain is grateful for and claims he owes Claire a debt. However, he's unwilling to look the other way with Jamie and not turn him in. I'm sure Jamie is getting out of this, I'm just not sure how yet.
Meanwhile, Fergus refuses to help Jamie attempt to take over the ship and charge after Claire. But he does manage to get him out of jail (well, fake Marisol does anyway). I'm not entirely sure what's happening in that scene. I tried to work it through in the discussion and it felt like I did, but now I don't know again. Lol.
Yay, goat cheese lady! She's hell bent on getting Claire off this ship to save her husband. I love this woman. Plus, she works with goats. But anyway, all that leads to Claire, literally, jumping ship and hoping a barrel raft will get her to land. That's gonna be an ordeal, I'm sure.
