It's been six years the British are still looking for Red Jamie? Seriously? Find something better to do with your time. And poor Ian keeps getting arrested for it. I understand why Jamie chose to get captured, but this is going to make it much more difficult for Claire to get back to him if he's in jail!
And speaking of Claire, she's sort of trying (I think, maybe?) to be a good wife to Frank. But she's just as hung up on Jamie as he is on her. She's constantly fantasizing about Jamie, and Frank's not having it. They are sleeping in separate beds by the end of the episode.
But, she's in medical school (much to the disappointment of the professor, it seems). However, she immediately seemed to make friends with the other outcast, a Black student. Hopefully, this will bring her the joy she's sorely missing right now.
We can't forget Fergus. I really thought Jamie was gonna stop them before it got this far. I did not, for a second, think they were actually gonna chop off his hand.

Sorry, Dana. No, it's not fun. They are both missing each other so much! Hang in there. 😔 I do love that Claire becomes a surgeon. It's probably the only thing I appreciated about her returning to her time.
