Heads up, my intro is long. I add some things I wanted to say after last episode but ran out of time. The actual reaction starts around 10:20 or so.

So, here's the dilemma. When Keith got shot by Dan, I originally felt like he'd be fine. Turns out, he wasn't. That makes it possible that Lucas could shoot and kill Dan right now (especially since next season we're going to college and we won't need parents around all the time). But, then we'd spend the next, who knows who long, with Luke in jail. And I don't think we'll be doing that storyline either. All this to say, I feel like Dan will be fine. I'm guessing he bent down to check on Karen as Lucas shot.
I wonder if that text message that Luke sent to Dan is enough to convince Karen that what Luke is saying is true.
Also, I've been so worried about Haley's baby, that I didn't really think to be concerned about Karen's. Plus, Luke being so pissed at Dan that he wasn't concerned about Karen passing out seems way out of character for him. He's doing all this to protect his mom and yet, she's unconscious and he's not doing anything to help her. He's so clouded by rage right now.
I give those kids a lot of credit. I'm not sure I'd be able to sign that yearbook for Jimmy's mom. Maybe. I'd like to think I would, but honestly, I'm not sure.
Sweet Haley. Trying to make sure Nathan doesn't feel bad about being the cause of her not getting to give her speech by saying it was about the Rachel test scandal. And Nathan immediately knows she lying and calls her out on it. It's just another in a long list of lovely scenes between the two of them.
