Ugh, Claire, my love. I felt so badly for you in this episode. Especially since she wasn't talking to Jamie. She might have felt so isolated in her feeling. When it comes to PTSD, Jamie will 100%, ALWAYS understand.
Also, I loved Claire playing along with Jamie when they they needed to get info out of that young British kid. It took me a minute to realize what was happening, but once I caught on it was delightful. I knew Jamie wouldn't have tortured him (right?).
I'm feeling very suspicious about Dougal right now. He was basically hopping up to the line over and over in this episode, but not really crossing it. And then Jamie gave him the honor (I think it was supposed to be honorific anyway) of going to tell Prince Charles that they'd arrived to fight with them.
I have no idea if Murtagh's teaching methods were actually effective, but Jamie's speech certainly seemed to rouse the troops.
