Added 2024-05-08 20:00:12 +0000 UTCCarla is back! I love this woman. I want her on the show as a regular. How do we make that happen? I also love that she's here to help Eddie, who Buck has sought out for him. I really love the friendship that the two of them have sort of struck up.
I'm 100% cool with Athena turning down the promotion. It's probably what I would have done too. I think we're all too busy striving for more and have a hard time appreciating what we already have. And I love that Bobby is totally on board with it. These two are really making me happy as a couple.
Maddie is moving out. I hope that doesn't mean we get a lot less of her. I'm really enjoying her character.
I think I talked last episode (or the one before) how I was still happy about Bobby and Buck still having a relationship. Happy to report that is still the case. And I still love it.
With the 'themes' 9-1-1 tend to rely on, I tend to go on tangents about how I relate or feel about the theme of the episode. This one is no exception. Sorry? Sort of.

this is one of my favorite underrated episodes! it has such good chimney content addressing his trauma, the team all hanging out with christopher was adorable, the buck and eddie bond growing so much more with buck getting carla to help him, and that escalator call has stuck with me forever. it’s full of great character moments and it’s everything i love about 9-1-1 in general.
