Outlander 1X16: To Random a Man's Soul
Added 2024-04-29 23:00:06 +0000 UTCMy god. I thought the last episode was hard to watch, this was worse. Or maybe it was just having to watch Jamie get tortured and raped for two episodes in a row.
On the plus side, those cows were fucking adorable. AND they helped knock out (kill? fingers crossed) Randall.
It broke my heart to think that Jamie would assume Claire would no longer want him after the ordeal he's been through. You cannot judge someone for doing whatever they needed to do to survive. And thankfully (even thought that was hard to watch too), Claire managed to tough love him back into decent mental shape.
Claire is pregnant! I wasn't sure at the end of the book. It seemed more alluded to than stated outright, so I'm glad this is more forthright. Lol. And Jamie seemed pleased! I was afraid he'd be more concerned than overly happy.
So now we're off to France with a plan to literally change the future. I'm so looking forward to next season!

2024-04-30 04:52:08 +0000 UTCYeah I read the books after I watched each season and enjoyed that more. The show is really good and not comparing it to the books almost makes it easier to get lost in it. The books are good but sometimes a little slow
