Outlander 1X13: The Watch

No! We've already learning multiple times that nothing good happens when Jamie and Claire are apart! Usually it's Jamie riding in on the while horse, but this time, I guess it's got to be Claire.

Thankfully, the watch leader guy disliked Horrocks as much as Jamie did, because he didn't care at all that he (well, Ian, but Jamie is covering for him) killed him. Phew. That could have went so much worse.

But then, we got so much worse. Even in death, Horrocks is still screwing them over. He got them ambushed in a place with no way out. Ian lost his leg and Jamie was taken by the soldiers.

In happier news, Claire helped Jenny give birth to the breeched baby. I really, really thought Jenny was gonna die in childbirth. It just felt like they set it up that way. But everyone lived, and now we've got a baby girl.

So, I feel like we are kind of coming to the climax right now. I'm so excited for the next three episodes!
