Added 2024-04-17 22:00:05 +0000 UTCI quite enjoyed the flashbacks in this episode, but I am super skeptical of the surprise inspection at the ball, though. Why wasn't their mother able to inform them about it when she seemed so knowledgeable before?
Also, I so expected Kane to be the person who went to Bellamy to make a deal, not someone he was a colleague with the year before. There has to be more to this, right?
Ugh. I really want Clarke and Raven to be friends. I think they are so similar. It's no wonder why Finn went for both of them.
What the hell is up with these Grounders? I kind of want an episode solely from their point of view. Either way, that dude helped them, and then Jasper knocked him out, but not before he stabbed Finn.
So, now we really need this radio to work. My prediction is that it won't because if it works, the people on the Ark will come to Earth, and then we'll have a different show. But I'm intrigued.

At the dance, it wasn't an inspection. It was a solar flare so the kids were strapping themselves in and IDs were being checked as a safety/attendance thing. It's their version of our fire drill. We do actually know the guy who came to Bellamy, he's just been a side/background character. We see him as Marcus's right-hand guy who kept updating him about Abby, who was pushing for the killing of the 300 people, etc. I'm pretty sure Bellamy was over 18 when he shot the chancellor so he wouldn't have been taken to the juvenile lockup, I think that he shot the chancellor and then the guy like snuck him/ran him to the dropship in the chaos. He wouldn't want him to stay on the ark cause then Bellamy would be questioned before being floated. It's better for everyone if Bellamy goes down to Earth. Similarly, we did actually know a couple of the characters that died in the grounder attack. They weren't mains but we saw them around camp and they had some couple lines here and there. Roma was one of the girls who slept with Bellamy last episode. John was here since ep 1 and was friends with Murphy. He and Murphy attacked Wells to get the wristband. He helped tie up Atom to the tree. He tried to save Murphy from the hanging and went after Charlotte when she confessed. He abandoned Murphy in the end when he returned to camp instead of being banished. I like that the show actually does kill characters we've seen hanging around even if they aren't vital parts of the show.
