Added 2024-04-15 21:06:23 +0000 UTCUgh. I so do not want to end up back in another Lucas/Brooke/Peyton triangle. I'd rather neither of them be with Lucas and just be friends with each other if we're just going to keep ending up here.
These reenactments were delightful!
I'm pretty annoyed at Brooke about the dress fight. Haley was as nice and kind about it as she could possibly be. BUT I'm so glad it was a quick fight, and they made up super quickly. Plus, the second dress she made is so much more Haley's style and a lovely apology.
Haley! What the hell are you doing inviting Dan?!? I mean, I kind of get it from your point of view, but from mine, this looks like a terrible idea!

2024-04-18 02:46:43 +0000 UTCI actually root for Peyton a lot because she goes through so much, especially this season. Seeing her go through so much makes me want to see her happy. I also appreciate Brooke’s positive perspective and outgoing personality. I never found myself to be mad at Peyton because she can’t control her feelings. However, I do think what you do with it is important. She messed up in the first season. However, this time she did go tell Brooke right as soon as realized the feelings were there. AND at the same time Brooke’s feelings about the situation are valid. Both can be true which I think can be difficult for the different team shippers (lol).

2024-04-17 03:32:02 +0000 UTCYou're exactly right...I think that most people automatically swoon over Nathan's love for Haley and all he does for her to show and profess his love for her, but Haley in turn equally does the same for him. They are the epitome of a team, and just one of the many reasons why they are soulmates and the perfect match for each other. Glad you also appreciate Haley just as much as Nathan. I think most people do, they just forget to point it out sometimes, hehe. But Naley are the absolute best...hands down, there is no comparison!!!

Which is why it would be a dream school for Lucas. Also, I was definitely a Jake and Peyton fan. The actors had great chemistry, imo. Of course, Naley is my favorite!

To me, Haley has the best relationships with all the core characters. If anyone was going to make me like Dan by association, it would be her, so I appreciate the sentiment, but no thanks. He's the devil.

2024-04-16 10:28:56 +0000 UTCI always love this episode.... mostly for all the Naley goodness, and Jake narrating their fairytale rehearsal dinner was so on point. Love that as Haley's maid of honor...Naley's love story reenactment was what she came up with. So fabulous. And yes...glad that Haley and Brooke's catfight over the dress didn't last but a minute, and Brooke more than made up for it with designing her new dress out of Karen's wedding material. Talk about a tissue induced moment...it was perfect!!! Glad you also caught the callback to S1 with Haley going to see Nathan to agree to tutor him, coupled with this time going to see Dan to invite him to the wedding in service of Nathan. Love Haley...that's just so her and such a perfect example of how much she loves Nathan. Also the fact that maybe on some level she sees Dan trying to change, and she's willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for Nathan because she knows how much it would mean to him if he could have a supportive father in his life. Now the dreaded triangle of doom, lol. I too can't stand it and it was never something that I looked forward to or enjoyed because quite frankly it made all three characters look horribly bad and did nothing to enhance them...so I'm with you on not wanting to see that ever again. And I too would pick Brooke and Peyton's friendship over either one of them ending up with Luke if I had my way, lol. And to answer your question...yes, there were quite a few Jeyton (Jake and Peyton) fans out there, as well as Leyton (Lucas and Peyton) fans. Not sure who had more, but Jeyton were immensely popular, and the actors believed in that pairing as well. I can't believe we are almost at the end of S3, and S4 begins on Friday...yay!!! I'm so excited for you to watch the S3 finale and gear up for S4. I hope you continue to love this show, and don't worry about mourning the loss of it...you've got so much more to get through before that's even a concern, hehe. You're not even halfway through yet, so just sit back and enjoy and I'll catch you after the S3 finale :)
