2021-05-02 15:25:50 +0000 UTCIt did the use the same animation as Monty Python (paper cut outs), but but instead of using the obviously cheap moving like Monty Python, they draw drawing and cut outs for each frame, I believe the whole animation took like 2-4 years to complete. The movie is Raw as fuck, and I hoped it would win as then Dan would have to commentate over a movie in the Criterion Collection.

I know it's going to be a victory for Wizards, and that's gonna be something, but Flight of Dragons looks like a real fascinating spectacle, I've actually read Phantom Tollbooth, and Fantastic Planet is apparently a film festival darling.
