I so did not expect Smash's steroid use to come out like this. I really thought we'd find out via a failed drug test of some kind. As disappointed as I am in that outcome, it really does open it up to other storylines down the like for Eric.
The conversation between Jason and Buddy was so good. I mean, obviously, what Buddy said was super shitty, but the fact that they actually had a conversation about it was pretty awesome. Also, I'm shocked that Jason totally went the other way afterward. I was so expected him to break up with Lyla 'for her own good.' But instead, he proposed. Is he serious?
Also, I assume something about the mayor being a lesbian in this tiny Texas town is somehow gonna cause problems for Eric.
