Having noticed that something seemed off about Abigail, Mashu's concern wasn't acted on in time before she was caught up in the Foreigner's wish on the Grail.

Out of curiosity I downloaded the Excel document that shows the results breakdown because it DID say Nemesis when the poll ended and the numbers don't match with what the poll shows... It has 30 for Nemesis and 28 for Tali. I wonder if because of how they changed polls recently its messing up the displayed count when people change their votes back and forth.
