VIDEO: Why the US Sells Weapons to 103 Countries

Making this video was an exciting experiment for us. From trying out different storytelling formats to collaborating with Search Party, we wanted to bring something as abstract and complicated as the arms trade to life and document the whole journey.
I also wanted to share still images for you all of the beautiful maps created for this video. They are below.

Top notch as always. An impressive distillation of the incredibly complex, down to something understandable and elegant. Thanks for sharing the maps btw! Also, I wonder if any military orgs might be watching? One would hope there's at least some US intelligence eyes watching, and maybe communicating back up the chain, that using weapons to force non-allied countries to do what America wants, is truly fruitless.
