VIDEO: Every US-Led Coup, Mapped

I’ve wanted to make a video about coups before I ever even know how to make videos. That’s because I never really understood them. It took a lot of years of study, two international relations degrees, and years of reading to finally understand just how powerful coups are in explaining how the US rose to power and then stayed on top. I’m excited to share this story with you.

I would like to know what is the outro music of this video, been searching it for a very long time but was not able to find it out. Please can someone let me know?

The production quality on this is fantastic and the animation only vibe does work BUT it does miss your big point of difference - You! Your passion in front of the camera is what draws me in as a viewer and engages me. This was great, and worked for this video, but I wouldn't make the channel move in this direction too much. Nice work though on all the animation and the story telling. You can tell the amount of work on the small details :)

Crimea is Ukraine, Johnny.

Hey Johnny and Team! A bit off topic, but I think a video on what happened in Turkey and Syria would be very interesting and informative. It has to do with countries and the borders that tectonic plates have & how they came in touch. Plus, a fundraiser on the video would go a long way to help the people affected in the earthquake. I am soon to hold one among my community, thought I'd write this for you all to see and hopefully make something meaningful as you all always do. Thanks guys!

Loved this!

Good summary, so much to cover! I was so excited about the topic, eager to hear your take on the coup in Chile, haha. But I get it, it's a really hard topic. I hope sometime you can go deeper into that "crazy shit" that happened here in Chile, not only in the coup, but also during the Pinochet regime. 50 years have passed and for us it's still an open wound, very unlikely to heal soon.

This was great. In the future, be sure to consider the 2009 Honduras coup to strike a blow against Chavez. That didn't end well for any of the parties. It only sank the country even worse, and that spun a lot of the collapse we saw with Venezuela later.

Great video, I generally watch them early on Nebula - but you don't add sources there, can you?

Hi Harris, Just adding, America also had a role in Coup D' Etat in Indonesia, remove Soekarno and replace with Soeharto, because Soekarno was deemed too friendly with the USSR. It's briefly mentioned in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vSkSD4Pa88&t=2s (Present past). Please include in your research. Cheer!

Whoa. That. Was. a LOT! Saved it to my "Long-Term Storage" YT playlist. (To pull out whenever speaking with MAGA relatives about how perfect and god-like 'Murica is... and I like the perspective shift at the end, around Russia and meddling in the US...)

@DaveRizz

I'm Australian and the only military coup we ever had was within Aus and was because of rum which is INCREDIBLY Australian and extremely on brand

I really love the "target/motive/main characters" subtitles for each coup, it definitely made it heaps easier to follow along and not get overly confused. Awesome work, guys!

This is like a crash course for important history many never learn about or choose not to. An alternate title could be: How the U.S. Stole the World.
