IMPORTANT UPDATE - SCHEDULE CHANGES, REWARD TIERS UPDATE & FUTURE PROJECTS

Hello All,  

You might have noticed that no new music was released this April and this is due to a couple of factors.  

We've always taken the approach to writing that it's better to take our time and produce music to the highest quality we can, rather than try to rush songs out the door to meet abritrary deadlines or capitalise on a flavour of the month.  Our current release schedule is at odds with this philosophy and it has proven quite difficult to both write original and high quality music and release it each and every month.  

So far we think we've managed to do this but we think it's best to reconsider this approach before it begins to negatively impact the quality of our work.  

This is why we have decided that it's time to revise our release schedule and cease releasing music on a monthly basis. Instead, we will continue to write but now with the aim of releasing multi-track EPs and Albums on a slower release cycle. If you are currently pledging in the hopes of receiving a new track each month, we are sorry to disappoint you but there will not be a new song for April, May or the next few months. We will now start work on a larger project with the ETA to be announced.

We understand that some of you may have been expecting new music this month and next month and we don't want anyone to feel like they didn't get what they paid for, so we will offer a refund for April for anyone who requests one (please message us on Patreon).  

Our Patreon page will remain up and of course we welcome your support. However there will be some minor changes to the reward tiers. The rewards tiers will be as follows:

$1 - Soft Man
- Access to the Patreon feed and exclusive Discord channel.
- Submit your questions for our monthly podcast "Filler Content"  

$2 - Half-Mast Man
- High quality downloads of all HMWH music in MP3 format as it releases.
- Bonus Monthly Show "Desperately Grasping For Content".  

$5 - Hard Man
- High quality downloads of all HMWH Music in FLAC format as it releases.
- Instrumental mixes of all HMWH Music (where applicable).
- Supporter credit in the monthly updates. 

The $10 tier will now close. If you are a $10 patron, we thank you enormously for your support, but please seriously consider revising your pledge as there is no longer a reward tier in place to match it. The same goes for all patrons. We cannot thank you enough for all your support. Please take a look at the reward tiers and consider the changes to our release schedule before deciding if you want to continue pledging.

We are not interested in milking people of their cash so please, please only pledge if you both want to support HMWH and can afford to do so, with the knowledge that you will not be seeing new music each and every month.  

That's about all there is regarding changes. So what are we doing, music-wise?
We already have a number of tracks in production and pre-production and a concept in mind for an EP. Expect to see more frequent updates on Patreon about this new project as it progresses, including discussion on our monthly bonus show, behind the scenes looks and music previews.  

Thanks for reading all of that. There's a few big changes and a few small ones but please rest assured that we will continue to create the music you love but with renewed focus and energy. Please look forward to it.
