Tears of the Kingdom review

I've watched this review a couple of times, it achieves that thing where it articulates something I also felt playing the game but didn't even realize. I've loved Zelda games since Link's Awakening came out (the GB one) and it's been a little disheartening to see Nintendo's direction with the series get nearly unanimous confirmation from the press and the public, and meanwhile all I can feel is that the reward system these games used to have is completely lost.

It was here, some silly creations made their way onto the Internet, and then no one cared. BotW still had stuff being pumped out even days before TotK came out. I think this game was way overhyped, and a lot of people were overall underwhelmed.
