It's been a little while so I'd like to update you on what I've been working on. First is a short showcase video for Mario Kart 64 HD, a new texture pack by Andrat that replaces the thousands of pre-rendered sprites in the game. The editing is underway for this one and it should arrive within a few days, hopefully by Monday.*

I've been simultaneously working on a video for Stray, which I bumped back to cover MK64HD. I intend to mod my cat into the game because he is the best boy, the only boy, and the boy the world needs now. This video should arrive near the end of the month or the first few days of September.*

As I mentioned a while back, I've been working on the 3D port and am ready to release the first batch of textures. This should definitely happen before the end of August, as I just have to tweak a few remaining buttons.*
One side benefit of the 3D project is that I now have HD icons for the different instruments, which were initially supposed to appear in the original 64 version when changing forms.
Thanks to a mod by Admentus and ShadowOne333, those beta icons have been restored for use via a Patcher64 option, so you can now enjoy the dynamic icons there as well (the current 64 pack download doesn't include these just yet but will be updated after the 3DHD release*).

This is the first Splatoon game to launch after the start of my channel, so I'm looking forward to doing a review of it soon after launch.* I will be playing with gyro controls OFF, because they are a disgusting gimmick.

I mentioned in my review of the Expansion Pack that I'd do another video if Nintendo fixed the service, and this October will be the time to check back in and see if it's still an abysmal shitpile of unfettered corporate greed. This will be an unbiased piece of fair journalism.

And finally I've started gathering captures for the second texture drawing guide. The first video didn't get a huge number of views but the people who did watch seemed to enjoy it, so I wanted to go further and show more advanced stuff like material map creation this time.
The textures will also not be limited to Zelda this time and will include Metroid and maybe even Star Fox objects. I don't have an ETA for this one but it will likely take until at least November to get all the texture sessions needed.*
That's it for the short term schedule, hopefully you're interested in what's coming up. Thanks again for your support!
*not happening, don't hold your breath, yeah right
