Expense report: proper-ish camera purchased, cat photographed
Added 2020-09-19 00:37:15 +0000 UTCA few of the videos (the Steam and SNES controller reviews especially) have called for camera footage and I've mostly relied on weak cell phone recordings to get by.
I've used the funds from last month to get a modestly competent 4k camera and some acoustic treatment foam and will also be getting actual lighting of some sort. The Wii U/Star Fox Zero video will probably be the first to fully use this and will hopefully no longer look like a hobo shot it inside of a tin can using a DSi.
I've been working on a review of Control since the game launched on Steam and have finally pieced together enough narration to upload it this weekend. The Mother 3 video, which was one of the most popular results on the poll last month, is also underway. Until then enjoy this capture from a 4k test video I took of the cat, who will feature heavily in all content released from now on.
