I seem to always kick these things off with an apology for not being present very much, so let's start with the poll and go for excuses after.

Hit up the link at the top to chuck your choice in. The background is that Eystri is going to be going on the mission to collect Kyn. At this point, their ship has an unknown contact moving towards them fast. The Energy Collector hasn't been destroyed yet.

The mission is to simply go down on the dropship, get Kyn and return to the Hekla. Easy mission...

So, excuses.

Even though the next episode isn't a very long one, I still haven't managed to complete it. Partially, this is due to the Halloween Home Intruder animation. That was pretty fuckin' intense for a few weeks. Since then, I've been chatting to people about the direction of the story, and have decided to change how the story was running a little. The current direction was taking viewer control away for even longer, and I've been running episodes without input for way too long now. It needs a vote, and I found a way to blend a viewer choice into how the next part of the story resolves.

On top of that, I've been approached to do some commission work as well. It was supposed to be a short animation, but you know that I can't keep anything simple, and it has got way bigger than planned. It's now been pre-vis'd, and I'm in the progress of doing the full animation for it. It's about a fifth done now.

The plan for now is to work on The Wilderness at weekends and commission during the week. Weekends I get full days, sometimes, while weekdays I only get a few hours after work, so it balances out.
