Efa Update!

This was not really planned, but then I discovered I could open up a second instance of Blender while another scene was rendering.

I've been sort of working on this one on and off for a while. I've been wanting to update Efa for ages. Her shoulders don't work right, and many other bits. Plus she was lacking in some anatomical aspects which have now been fixed. One of them was poor breast topology, meaning they never really moved correctly.

She's been redone top to bottom. I took the opportunity to adjust her head shape a little to give her an actual jawline. Her eye's aren't just spheres any more. Now she has actual clear orbs over them. The shoulders now work, her fingers have claws instead of just stubs. I reduced the length of her mouth a bit. I want to start doing mouth movements, and it's hard when her mouth is longer than her forearm.

Her feet now have ankles, rather than just bending when the legs got low enough. Her tail has far more segments so it should bend more naturally. She's also got ladybits now, ready and waiting for the adventures to continue.

I've been putting off updating her because it takes so long to do the animations that an update would set the next episode back a few weeks. Now I can do updated characters while scenes render. Talking of episodes, the next one is still progressing slowly. The initial scene is now complete and we've moved up to around 50 seconds of animation completed, excluding intros. The current stumbling block is a bunch of tricky clothsims. I think I've cracked them now and I've run out of stuff to render.

The next part is going to be a bit weird, as I'm still working on ways for the story to work with the next section. There's a fine line between cute and kind of creepy. I think I have a way through, but it's a case of balancing progression, story, commands, and what the characters would actually be willing to do.

I'm hoping to get some more done over the weekend, but the weather is nice and I don't currently have a very good kitchen, so I need to build one. Plus this is the first weekend we're out of lockdown, so I kind of need to get out for a bit.
