As a law student I want to help clarify that none of Trumps charges are federal, fictitious business records are usually a misdemeanors and to raise them to a felony the prosecution is alleging that the acts were done in furtherance of a felony which in this case is election fraud. The election fraud is a federal offense but it’s not being charged, just being used to bump up the misdemeanors.
