I also prefer when there's some mind left at the end, but the unbirth thing never said much to me. But...! Perhaps to make it work around eggs could be fun... and thinking about it I guess my take on fruit/plant TFs could sorta be made fit the "unbirth" criteria in a relative way.

2023-05-03 17:42:13 +0000 UTCMy favorite type of TF is when it involves someone being unbirthed by the creature they’re going to transform into, and then are slowly turned into that critter’s baby before being reborn. With merging into someone’s or something’s body part being a close second place interest. I also strongly prefer for the victim to keep enough of their mind intact at the end of the process to be aware of what’s happened to them and unable to do anything about it, rather than them losing their mind entirely.
