Royal Research Research, Pages 1 & 2

What, you think we're content with launching one new project this week? Heh, yeah, we've had this in mind for a bit and we decided to get the pieces lined up to get it started on Zelda's 40th anniversary. This one's actually going to be pretty different and a lot lighter than our other fare, since the second part is a lot more indicative of what this actually is; we're going to be doing individual pictures alongside snippets of Purah's journal as Zelda investigates what exactly led her to her current situation. Still an ongoing plot, but the text is going to be doing a lot more of the heavy lifting in terms of what's happening and they're not going to be full comics, though we'll likely occasionally do bits like the first one here where we cut back to Zelda and hear her thoughts on what she's reading rather than seeing a journal entry directly. Might recall we did a story very similar to this concept a long ways back. This is very similar in concept, but we do have ideas in place for it to go in its own distinct direction and potentially have some room to continue forward past the initial premise. Will have to see on that but yeah, would probably expect these to be among our more regular story updates," since for the most part they're just going to be individual pictures along with journal snippets and all. As said on Wotch What Happens we've been toying with different formats for ongoing stories for awhile and this felt like a low-demand way to mess around with a property we both have a lot of love for. Incidentally this probably isn't the last of the Zelda content we'll see from us today. We have a lot of Zelda pictures sitting mostly finished and will probably put up a batch of a few of those later. For the record we spent a lot of time spitballing different title ideas before landing on this one, kind of just decided we liked the ring of it and it felt like both something Purah would say and a good sum-up of what the focus of the story is.
