A Foal's Errand, Page 9

Heh, past couple of months had only gotten one of these out so wanted to be sure to get out a second this month. Like the latest New Loop, New Role page I started with just a rough outline and wrote the dialogue after drawing it, kind of just was how I was in the mood to work on it. If you aren't aware the fourth panel's a reference to one of the shorts the show did, felt like a natural thing to call back to given what's going on.

Heh. Was surprisingly hard to find an idea of what to call this arc. Either way, very happy with this set; wanted to have a transitional page showing Lance going from Kanto/Johto to Unova. If you don't show the transition it makes the act of traveling feel like less of a big deal and wanted to emphasize that another region meant something huge. February 2026 Picture Poll - Finishing Lots

Rather enjoyed this system when we tried it out back in December and thought we'd give it another whirl. This time around we'll likely sprinkle the pictures out through the back end of the month and possibly into March rather than clustering them together, will give us more breathing room, but either way, works pretty much the same as last time - we put together 20 groups of 5 series each that we have in-progress pictures for and you vote on which 5 you want to see us wrap up soon.

Mystery to a Baby

Heh, we've been sitting on this one for a bit meaning to submit it but wanted to wait until we'd probably introduced aged-up Sarah into the comic before we posted it. Figure now's a good time, especially since with it only being about a week ago since we posted the last page it might be a little bit into the month before we post a proper Erika page this time around.

Filing Error - Page 25

Sorry for the delay on this one - actually started on it at the tail end of last month and wanted to try to rush to get it out either before the month ended or as the first update of this month, but then it wound up kind of stalled out among having to work on other projects and the focus wound up instead going to getting Foal's Errand updated. Am happy to get it out pretty early into the month at least. Admittedly this might end up being a stopping point for a bit of a hiatus? I'm really not 10...

Oh, we had been WAITING for this twist. ^_^ If you knew the original story you knew this was coming and we were pretty eager for it. Like with Marie, Sarah had to be re-designed twice, once for each form, and we wanted her to look a lot spunkier and more energetic in both states. We see that she keeps the side-ponytail from when she was a kid, and has lost the usual brown jacket she wore for one that's blue and green. It's wild how long we've been sitting on this one - think the initial rough draft of it was drawn about four years ago, then it just kind of sat for a long time before we eventually revisited and redrew it and now it's been sitting in our to-post backlog for like a year and a half.
