Comic of the Month 7 - Carli's New Perfume

Carli WRECKED that poll; she easily swept everything to a level we weren't expecting. I guess it should've been obvious; Erika is one of our most popular subjects so a spin-off would naturally win a lot. If you read Erika's text stories before the comic adaptation, you'll know that Carli is her semi-rival character who previously had access to a perfume and wound up in the same boat. This is a quick show of that particular backstory. Should specify that while we have more planned for Carli if we do follow up with this it'll only be a few pages, not a massive number like Erika where we have no clue how many pages it'll be by the end. Originally intended to try to cram the whole origin story just into one comic but it was coming out way too long even with trying to abbreviate it so yeah, if you want followups we're open to it but will need to know the demand's there to commit. Was a lot of fun getting this out; in particular was great doing Goldcrest; like with all Erika characters he's named after a bird (in his case the.... Goldcrest) and like Hummerbee he's designed to resemble his namesake. After Hummerbee was a goober with no clue what she was doing, wanted to have gags with Goldcrest being a staunch professional. Curious how this'll go given it's related to Erika but not quite her. Carli is a fun contrast, especially with her devil motif in place specifically to stand out against how Erika is a little angel.
