Funny enough this was as originally written only actually like a quarter of the first page; initially planned to introduce the entire starting lineup of the SDU in one page, but ultimately I decided pretty last minute to reconfigure it into several smaller pages instead on the basis that I preferred the idea of smaller but more frequent updates over large pages that'll take forever to get out. Helps that doing that also helped to make more room for the dialogue and the Shinigami blurbs. So yeah. Not immediately obvious what the hook might be here, but we at least get introduced to Tsubasa, Takemaru, and Gaku, on top of an in-story introduction to Takumi and the ghost boy. Rest of the crew will be introduced pretty quickly over the next few pages so look forward to that; be a little bit before we start into the thick of things but there'll be some indications of where the wind's blowing very soon. Sidenote while Gaku and Takemaru are new you might recognize that we drew Tsubasa before in our initial Hundred Line picture. She might be my favorite member of the cast so can kind of expect her to get a lot of play as this goes along even if she isn't doing too much here.
