GRAND OPENING - Marinara Trench Airport! [Expansion #5]

Hello, Dog Fans and Cat Conspirators!

In my biased opinion, the wait has been worth it.

I am so, so delighted to say we're finally at the point where we can fully claim to have a simulated universe of airports. You can wait for a flight for eight hours, in real time, travel between a network of three interconnected airports (each with unique scenery and logic), and you can bend the fabric of time itself as a dog howls in the solar winds.

You know.
Normal airport stuff.

Gates open ~90 minutes before boarding time. Gates close if you miss the flight, and are assigned to a new flight (but not before you have time to commiserate with a dog about your missed opportunity). Your boarding passes can expire, and will set themselves on fire if you have allowed them to enter this dire state.

Use hallucinogenic sodas (and delicious coffee) to alter your perception of time, and catch flights faster. Swim in the pool of Beachwell airport. Explore the Marinara Trench, a new, Southwest-inspired planet where all of the marinara sauce in the universe is grown and harvested. Ignore the ocean of chunky red liquid that looks vaguely like blood. Use the newly-introduced tram system to travel between terminals, in our largest airport yet. Don't press the Pupperdex button. Get a fireaxe from an archaeologist. And: meet yet more new dogs, that you can pet with a giant batch of new hands.

You'll find some rad pictures of the new build below:

Thank you for your ongoing support - the game is speeding ahead right now, in large part due to your help!!

Dog Devotees and Cat Conspirators - send me your good pets so I can get them in the game as soon as possible. We're launching this holiday, and I can't wait to find them roles in these weird worlds! My email is nelson [at] strangescaffold [dot] com for details, submissions, and questions.
