Meet Dom

So MustLoveFrog's (patreon here) commonly does these cute bio cards for the characters of her furryverse, and I've always found them so flippin' cool. I asked permission to try out something similar, so here ya go, the first of hopefully many. Let's get reacquainted with Dom~

Charmingly charismatic or insufferably smarmy? You be the judge! Dom hails from a long line of proud big cats, and they certainly have big n' proud expectations for him to meet. Dom originally spent a few bored years crunching numbers as an accountant at his mother's firm (a position for which he was both under-qualified and grossly overpaid), before he decided he wanted greater for himself. He now seeks to automate dull jobs like his old one, not really because he cares about freeing people from the monotony, but at least partly because he wants to stick it to his old coworkers that called him "mommy's little cub" behind his back. Oh, and also because he wants to be rich and powerful and important, and there's no better way to do that than by designing flashy new software that eats jobs and poops profits.

And so, Dom goes back to college to learn computers. It's here that he crashes headlong into the fact that his computer skills, once the envy of an office full of computer-illiterate baby boomers, are actually pretty amateur. He quickly grows jealous of his academic peer Tadeo Tapas, a highly skilled student in the Master's computer programming field. He "befriends" his newfound rival to learn and steal all his tech skills, even going so far as to eventually ask Tadeo to be his roommate. This ends up biting Dom in the ass when he realizes he might actually want this little tapir as his first ever true friend, and his warring superiority complex and feelings of inadequacy implode his smug guy charade and turn him into a complete tsundere geek around Tadeo. Dom literally has no idea how to act around someone so authentic and unapologetically cringe. And as Dom has the emotional intelligence of a tuna salad sandwich, he only becomes more of a neurotic spaz-cat when his platonic feelings for Tadeo take a tilt toward the romantic. He swears he isn't obsessed with that little freak!
