Savannah Snarly-Face
Added 2021-12-23 07:36:06 +0000 UTCdesign exploration for Savannah, since her's was bugging me. Still figuring it out! Definitely still getting the hang of drawing her. I removed her 2007 scene kid hair and replaced it with the typical silly hyena onion head. Like all striped hyenas, Vanna has a giant glam rock mane and it's pretty emotive. When she's relaxed, her mane lies flat and sleek against her neck. When indignant, flustered, or just plain irate, she does that Hayao Miyazaki anime angry hair bristle. It's completely involuntary, and Virgil says it's hard to take her seriously when she looks like she just stuck a fork in an electrical socket.
In the corner doodle, Savannah is probably yelling at a creepy patient that keeps being inappropriate with the nurses. Vanna tries to be patient, really, but she's got limits. Unfortunately, this will probably end with her being reprimanded. Fortunately, Virgil will listen to her vent and maybe buy her a taco. And maybe, maybe manhandle the perv patient a little when it's time to transport him. And maybe get yelled at after by Vanna, but hey, worth it.
