Mom Bod 3: Flutter Butter

(calling it now, if I upload the mom bods to deviantart THIS will be the one I get the most flak for. Drawing Fluttershy as anything but hyper-idealized waifu wankbait is sacrilege in brony circles)
Anyway, Fluttershy. Flutters has always been tall and lanky, just like her brother Zephyr Breeze. Her childhood nickname, "Klutzershy", is still a tiny bit accurate, because Flutters is sometimes a bit unaware of her height and size, and sometimes clonks her head on doorways, or knocks knick-knacks off countertops with her larger-than-average wingspan. Fluttershy was rail thin (bony even) in her youth, but motherhood and age softened her up. Healthy diet and exercise shed most of those pregnancy pounds, but some of it stuck around in her thighs, gut, and flutterbutt, giving her a pear-shape body type. Fluttershy used to dress to conceal her figure, but has since grown to appreciate her body (especially after being told by Photo FInish she still had "za magiks", and being begged to do a photo shoot again, oh my, how flattering!)

2020-07-17 03:47:47 +0000 UTCThat was definitely before he was dating Fluttershy, I don't imagine Bulk started dating her til a few years after the show ends (disregarding the finale epilogue episode). Featherweight would be maybe ten or eleven, and Pound Cake maybe three (?) when Bulk marries Fluttershy, and together they have Rosemary. Fluttershy officially adopted Featherweight and she does know about Pound, but she's leaving it to Pound to decide when/if he wants to meet his bio dad. I think Fluttershy and Bulk would eventually open their marriage though, I like the idea of Flutters casually dating Dash, and Bulk occasionally going out with Dumbbell, but idk how canon that is

2020-07-17 02:45:00 +0000 UTCThanks! :) And "floating balloon tits and unrealistic waist sizes" is right. :/ I looked up diverse body types over on derpibooru, and much of it was lineups of the mane six, all thin and identical, the only variation being their hair styles and bust size. And not even variety like perky boobs vs floppy, big vs flat-chested, no the boobs only range from huge to RIDICULOUSLY HUGE (yet never sag, ain't that the real magic at work)

I've seen a LOT of bodies, and almost everybody has stretch marks! It's just skin stretching to accomodate sudden growth, it's not exclusive to overweight people. I've seen them on dude's biceps, on ladies' thighs, even my super skinny size zero friend has em on her butt. They're common on young and old alike, on every body type, but the only discussion I hear about them is how unsightly they are and how to get rid of them. :/

I've been wanting to accentuate these features more on my own mom characters, and this series so far is just great at showing variety. I'm honestly losing more and more life points with each one of these that you put out. And yeah, even as someone that is slightly guilty of drawing Fluttershy in the way that you described, bronies get very rigid and demanding when it comes to how fan favorite characters like Fluttershy are drawn when given anthro bodies. I draw Princess Luna as plus size, and some people did not take too kindly to that, to put it lightly.

She should be happy with her beauty and looks (even though she’s not skinny or 20 anymore) I am glad she can accept who she is and what she looks like. For me it speaks in favor of her growth as a person. We all continue to grow as people, even after becoming a parent.
