I have seen there was an article about a woman who did heavy training while pregnant and only thing you saw of a Pregnancywith a small baby bump And she’ll still ripped but her stomach was a little bit softer

Omg how did I not see this post? X’D this is so great. Honestly I love exactly where this sketch is going. Having a bit of a soft belly due to pregnancy and home cooking makes sense but I imagine she is still ridiculously ripped and ready to buck a whole tree down.

CUDDLE BUFF CUDDLE BUFF CUDDLE BUFF!!! I've actually always imagined Big Mac having the same sort of body as he getd older. He BIG. He JACKED. He could throw a fucking boulder without breaking a sweat, but there's a lil chub and softening there too in his middle age. I can absolutely see Applejack having that mix of jacked and softness too

Soft and beefy, to show that she lives/lived the good life and still kicks ass (regularly, something tells me there were still Mane 6 get togethers to save the day after the Princesses' retirement).

The shredded look only really comes about from dehydration and training your muscles for aesthetic rather than function. AJ's muscles come from a lifetime of hard work and usin em, she would have the powerful jacked up arms and legs but her core would have the build of a powerlifter rather than a body builder. Bring on the tummy!

BIG with a little squish. I don’t doubt she is heckin shredded but babies are large and apple’s cooking is too good not to indulge in. Plus Rarity would be living for her shredded wife with a pillow.

I’m with the folks who are here for stronk/chonk AJ. Sturdy as an oak and soft like a squishy pillow sounds like the best of both worlds ☺️

I vote for the second option! I'm living for how body-positive these all are, and showing that sometimes you just can't get rid of all the chub (if you even wanted to) but that you can still be built like *that* (swoons) is hella

The products may be apple based, but a lot of it seems fried and/or and drowned in traditional Southern excess. Apple fritters (fried dough, basically a doughnut), caramel apples, candied apples, apple pie, cobbler, brown betty, tart, cake, brioche, strudel......like I'm sure she'd eating apples as well but let's be real AJ eatin' good at home

I’d say she’d be ripped from her life on the farm. Perhaps carrying a bit of weight from her baby but I guess not too noticeable. Maybe bruised since farming causes a lot of bumps and scratches?

I'm good with either mostly because I'm unsure of what the diet of mostly apple based products and kicking apple trees does to a body. But I trust your judgment and your current WIP looks good.

Yes soft belly I feel like Applejack doesnt care for her appearance that much and places others over her own needs to appear as shredded as possible.

Honestly I love the cuddly buff option cuz that’s basically how my body is built and it makes me so happy to see one of my favorite characters with a body like mine <3

For Applejack, I think she'd be built like a brick privy, even into her sixties, as she's a creature of habit and would be so accustomed to her work schedule that it would always keep her fit. I don't think she'd start really slowing down until she was nearing her 80's.

I feel like she would definitely have a soft middle I mean we all know that a big part of the apple family is their amazing baking skills and I'm sure she just can't say no to Magnolia's biscuits or whatever monstrosity Rarity burnt and calls "muffins"

I think soft and beefy is the best option. Yes, AJ is an earth pony and super buff, but as you said, she's had a baby and is living off her family's hearty home cooking, which is bound to soften up any beefcake. I think she looks wonderful with the second design :)
