Playing around with timelapse mod
Added 2020-03-31 12:22:20 +0000 UTCHi guys! I've been playing around a bit with a timelapse mod (takes zoomed out screenshots at set intervals), resulting in something like above. Do you think it would make for an interesting video type? In a full version, I'd edit some additional info over it as to what is happening, what I'm trying to do etc.
this is 30fps with 10 seconds playtime between each frame, so every second is 5 ingame minutes, so 12 seconds video per hour playtime. It's also very watchable in 0,5x or even 0,25x speed (you can adjust the playback speed in youtube).

Unfortunately you need to set it up before starting to play, I cannot seem to do it with the replay function. I'm working on a similar timelapse-map with some different settings though, it is turning out pretty cool :) It will be released as a single full-playthrough video together with map/savegame release

2020-04-07 11:04:47 +0000 UTCI agree with the other comments, defiantly would be a cool review video. I like how you had the full map in view, I don't like it much when other videos have it scroll a lot (although sometimes it's needed).
