As someone who has been in a sexually manipulative relationship; revisiting similar experiences on your own terms can be therapeutic and cathartic. I for one like to sometimes explore the darker, more complex psychological aspects of a character like Snape. I'm truly sorry for anyone who has experienced sexual aggression in any form (which is probably most of us) but it is still a fact that fantasies involving non-consensual sexual scenarios are very prevalent among women. There is a whole psychology involved. You simply cannot conflate fantasy and reality. Nobody would want this to happen to them in real life and yet many people enjoy these fantasies. It is what it is and I do not want anyone to feel guilty for having these types of fantasies.

Some of the subject matter was way out of hand. The college thought so too and discontinued the course for the second term but they continue as a "club" at a rental hall. I figure by the spring they will be enthusiastic ly embracing necrophilia and bestiality. They already have accepted pedophilia, sadism, degradation, and everything that goes with them.

I do not condone this type of thing in real life and abusers like this should get tossed right into the LA fires if you asked me. However, it's a fantasy. One that is not for everyone and I made sure to be clear in the tags for this story. The interesting thing is that many people (women more so than men) indulge in fantasies that involve non-consensual sexual encounters. That doesn't mean they'd want this to happen to them in real life or enjoy it, but fantasy is a safe space to explore this darker side of sexuality. I totally understand that this stuff will trigger some people and I hope they will heed the warning I put up. I would also like to add that this episode takes place in a post-war world away from Hogwarts where Snape runs his own potions shop. Not that it makes it any better, just wanted to clarify. Thank you for your input, even if it's critical. I was aware that this story will not be everyone's cup of tea. I'm sending you well wishes from across the pond and hope they get those fires under control soon. It sounds absolutely horrific and I'm so sorry for all the loss brought on by that inferno. It’s too close to the casting couch for me, and that stuff actually happens in reality everyday in the entertainment business. Snape is a very dark, dirty old man in this one for me. I didn’t enjoy this at all. Not to be weird, but has anyone here actually been sexually manipulated? Or sexually abused? Or raped? It’s not romantic at all. It’s terrifying, painful, and confusing at the same time. Then you’ll spend years in a therapist’s office trying to handle the trauma. Because believe me, if you’re a woman, we have been trained to blame ourselves for it. It will haunt you for the rest of your life. If it was me, the minute he turned his back to me I would have run as fast I could to get out of there. He wouldn’t have had the time to obliviate me. And after I calmed down the voice in my head that was saying “You ‘re a little whore. You are nothing. And you brought this on yourself.” Would probably come back. If I was pissed I would go to Dumbledore, and tell him I was afraid for my life and he has a bonafide sexual abuser teaching children. If I was terrified and confused, I would still have gotten out of there and probably have a completely traumatic memory that would mess with my mental health. This Snape I want to break a chair over his head and knock him out. A man or a wizard that did this to a bright young women under the guise of getting an Apprenticeship should be in Azkaban. I know now why Lily got the hell away from him. He dangerous and sick. But that’s just me, in the middle of Los Angeles, that is on fire and loved ones homes are being incinerated…that looks like several bombs have hit it like Hiroshima it was too much. Too real maybe. I love this creator’s work, but this one fucked me up. Sorry.
