Another Artist
Added 2019-01-11 23:36:08 +0000 UTCI've got sad news. Another artist has decided they can't do one of my light novels.
This one is just a two volume light novel series. I don't have a title for it yet.
I have hired two artists so far and both were unable to finish. My last artist reimbursed me what I paid them, which is good since my previous artist cost me $2,400 and never even responded to my emails.
I have a new artist now. Hopefully, they will be able to help me, but if not... I feel like I may have to give up. I don't want that to happen.
Anyway, here is a freebie. This is the only illustration my last artist made for the series.

I also noticed that in the close up, the character has her hood down and hair back more, but in the main picture she had her hood up and hair foward more like she had her head facing down instead of up. It doesn't match and kinda looks weird because of that. Oh well, you'll find a good artist some day! Maybe @nottytiffy would be open to discussion, hey? Also, don't ever pay in advance for art. That's kinda stupid. It doesn't matter what they say, that's just scammy already. I should know, I've helped catch people like that lots.

Any recourse to get reimbursed from the original artist? You pay through paypal or something? I mean it is fraud to accept money for a task then bail.
