Big update: HIGH ROLLERS STUDIO!

Hello Patrons, High Rollers supporters and all-round-cool-people,

For two years we've been, for lack of a better term, stuck playing D&D remotely. We made it work, we had to, and eventually we got the streams to a place where we were happy with the quality of content we were putting out. We had full control of the music, the stream, the equipment and we all got to play every Sunday without even needing to put trousers on. Ha ha, jk jk... unless?

However, despite the success we had making everything work remotely we all still sorely missed playing this wonderful game in person, around our friends. But we wanted to retain that control, making videos exactly how we want in a space that is truly ours. A place we can decorate and customise, a place we can use for bigger and better videos.

Now, after two years of a very different High Rollers, we're happy to announce that we're moving into an exciting new stage with the High Rollers STUDIO! We've (somehow) found a place in Bristol that ticks every one of our very specific requirements that we will be able to turn into the best space to make our nerdy D&D dreams come true. What's more: the High Rollers Studio is entirely funded by you, our wonderful and generous supporters. So, I mean, c'mon. Give yourself a big ol' applause.

With that support we're able to build a studio and streaming set up we're comfortable and happy to play D&D in while still retaining the HR seal of quality. But we always have grander plans. The dream to build not just a usable studio, but the *perfect* studio. One with 4k cameras and fantastic audio and LED screens that can read our thoughts and animate the characters live. The last one isn't real but can you imagine?

So this Saturday (20th November) at 12pm UK time we're going to begin a 12+ hour fundraising live stream. We'll play games, we'll do Q&As, we'll host the HR battle royale everyone asked for and make everyone fight to the death! All with the goal of getting newer, better, more incredible tech to make High Rollers the best dang D&D stream you've ever seen. If you're reading this you're probably already a patron so consider this an invite to just watch 12 hours of streaming madness. Your support here is more than enough.

Speaking of Patreon: there's going to be some changes over the next week that allows you to get more out of your contributions and support. Nothing is getting removed, you'll still get early access to podcast episodes and our eternal gratitude, but look out for more update posts in the near future regarding what your support gets you. We have some plans on how to forever memorialise the ones that made this possible that we think you're going to love. Maybe I'll tattoo every one of your names on my body. Ha ha, jk jk... unless?
