Agreed, no work on weekends. But it is close regardless, and will be ready when ready. I shall impatiently be patient (and keep refreshing patreon and email constantly till something changes)

If I refresh the page every few hours it makes the update come faster, right? It was my understanding that this is how it works.

Nothing is worse then knowing an update is right around the corner, but not sure when it will go live.

It's killing me too! Sorry for delays. Testing will be more or less complete . I'm waiting for proofreading. When I get it I'll apply it to game and then I'll send it for a quick test to bunch of different people. If nothing horrible happens then I'll release it for patreons next day.

So is the alpha (pre-patreon release testing with the volunteers) already finished, and all the major bugs are solved, or is it gonna start only after the proofreading is done, and the patreon release will need to wait a few extra days after that? The hype is killing me xD

I can't really tell. It depends how fast you are playing and if you know what to do exactly. There are about 14k new words in there, including names in every sentence, and all words like Ah... Um... And so on.

How big of an update is it? Like 1 hour of extra content, 2 hours etc?

Don't worry I'm alive. Now I'm waiting for proofreading. Everything else is ready. In meantime I'm planning new events and writing new dialogues.
