Bee Wrangling

I've had a visitor at my house so I haven't had time to do a whole lot of art, but I'll let you in on one of my side-projects.
Now, we've been looking at keeping bees this spring, but hadn't ordered anything yet. Suddenly, from out of the blue, a swarm shows up in our yard, on our tree. Providence! These were going to be OUR BEES!
Unfortunately the place they picked was something of a difficult spot to get at. We tried shaking them out and eventually had to cut down the branch. Here are my roommates brushing bees off of the shorn tree into their new home.
