Added 2015-12-24 01:38:38 +0000 UTCHallo all! I've been most busy finishing up all the work I had hanging around so I can start fresh for the new year, so I'm going to give you a different kind of resource today, one that's lightweight for me but extremely handy.

Morguefile is a collection of images that are TOTALLY free for any use, including commercial, etc. There aren't any rules beyond you not being able to resell or repost the original photos as is, but you can use them for any kind of artistic endeavor and sell that and it's totally kosher. A lot of websites that have free content are kind of difficult to understand and have a lot of legalese involved. Not Morguefile.
I use it all the time for refs for paintings. They have a lot of animals and some good environments.
