PlugChat for VRChat

What is it?

Shortly put, PlugChat is a more intimate alternative to the classic Lovense remote, or better yet it completely removes the need for a remote. We all know that some social VR users have been dabbling in ways to connect better with that special someone through the virtual world and we know , if this applies to you we hope that PlugChat can become a valuable addition to your set of tools.

What does it do differently than the lovense remote?

Interfacing:

Pun intended, rather than having to have your phone out or an application open on a virtual monitor to control your partner's toy, you simply join together in a PlugChat compatible world and use your body to trigger your partner's toy with something as simple as a touch by your hand, do note that you do not need PlugChat in order to trigger another PlugChat user's toy.

Level of control:

Just like the lovense remote, PlugChat offers a dynamic level control. In PlugChat this level is calculated based on a couple of variables but the largest factors are the distance from your trigger limb to the person's trigger zone and the speed of which you are closing that distance, with a little built-in togglable interpolation to smooth things out we can guarantee this provides quite the immersion.

What are it's main limitations?

PlugChat only works in PlugChat compatible worlds, why? In order to not modify the VRChat client which is against the TOS of VRChat we had to look for alternative ways to make it work without having the user running into the risk of getting penalized for using PlugChat.

Will this work with my toy?

PlugChat uses the buttplug.io library so there is a high chance your toy is already compatible, to find out simply go to their toy compatability index and search for your toy.
