Added 2023-11-12 15:49:03 +0000 UTCI'm still trying to work on shading characters and transferring them across to my computer. I'd really love to do more tanned characters and dark-skinned babes, but it'll be difficult if I can't get the consistency right.
Janemba looked off too in some areas of shading. So I'm gonna keep working on it. Would be brilliant if I can smooth out the shading so it's not so blotchy and sketchy.

I’m sure you’ve looked at other examples but I’m sure it’s hard to do tanned/dark skinned characters with just black and white colors 😅 but are you perhaps referring to colored versions?

2023-11-13 02:56:11 +0000 UTCSame here in the digital department. Though with traditional, it’s much harder. It’s much easier when using full color for tanned & dark skin characters since I save the color schemes for them. But when doing it in manga where everything’s black & white, I struggle using different shades of grey for certain backgrounds and characters. I thought about just keeping the dark & tanned skin characters the exact same color, but I didn’t because I want them to stand out and look different from each other.
