February Update (Monkey Island rewards + Next steps)

 Hey everyone!

 Thank you all for the patience on the Return to Monkey Island video. I know it was promised over and over, and went through so many revisions, but I think I’m happy with how it ended up, especially judging by the reactions. It was a huge piece of unfinished business that I was very nervous about so I decided it needed at a certain point to just exist and be out there in the world. Hopefully it lived up to the promise on some level, though like the game, I suspect there will always be an element of having to let go of whatever perfect vision of it I might have expected. Certainly felt good to get it off my chest. There will of course be rewards to follow- a write up will hit the page tomorrow for all tiers, and a timeline tour not too far in the future for Ushers and ASM’s.

 As for what’s next, the focus is as planned- the final major video on my roadmap. It’s a big one and I don’t know that I can announce a date yet, but I am closing in on a completed draft. Better Call Saul is also my next piece of unfinished business, in terms of slightly smaller videos, lots of material to work with there, and there’s a few scattered drafts magically starting to take shape now Monkey Island has been done. I’m ticking off a lot of stuff from my lists and starting to look ahead again which is a pretty good feeling, especially once the long held dream of a Frasier video was in the can.

 But, at the end of April, I hope, oh good lord do I hope, I have an announcement to make. Don’t take this promise too strongly, just because if you know my track record my promises tend to take a lot longer than planned, but I’m gunning for something in that timeframe. So, fingers crossed, we’ll be hitting a long, long awaited project’s first real steps. BOY I hope this paragraph ages decently.

 ANYWAY.

 Thanks once again for the support and sticking around for the content promised in the jurassic age. As you might have noticed I’m trying to rapidly speed up my schedule and hit videos in a faster timeframe- we’ve had two proper videos out in the first two months of this year already, and I’m working hard to ensure there’s at least one every month going forward. Really motivated to pay back your generosity with the work I’ve been focusing on for so long, and I feel it’s finally taking shape the way I wanted.
