Good video! I've been interested in using LVM for a tiered approach using dm-cache or dm-writecache. Any thoughts on that? Honestly thought I like the mergerfs approach especially when it comes to saving a few drives when a few die, and the ability it gives you to upgrade gradually over time. Now that I think about it, LVM will give you that too.
