This episode 3 is so profound…. They’re all reckoning with the complexities of identity. Arthur saying “we’re not those kind of men” to Tommy’s “I forgot who I am” - very powerful. And Michael and John/arthur struggling with their professional roles… and on a different note, Tommy turning for healing to time with his son after realizing the revenge torture would not have provided it and religious answers couldn’t either. So amazing. And then he goes back to his ways and tries to get Ada “out” via Boston, and his ruthlessness being the leveraging of systems and bad actors against each other (with getting the name from Monkland) not revenge.

2025-04-30 11:52:59 +0000 UTC“I heard the blackbird sing” is one of my favorite lines from Arthur in this show. I also agree with your comment about Arcane, not as much in season 1 but in season 2, even though I still like that show a lot.
