Season one is A LOT of cringe. Not to say that there aren't 1000 other cringe moments throughout the series, but yea S1 was different. I usually skip it when I rewatch the series for each millionth time lol... The story goes: after S1, NBC was gonna cancel it, but some exec or whatever said "wait, Steve Carrell has this movie coming out this summer (40 Year Old Virgin), and it should be a success. Let's wait." Then they revamped Michael a bit, and took him a couple notches down from the Gervais "Michael" in the original UK version. Looking forward to this experience with you! Keep up the great work, bro 🤘
