The Godfather (1972) Uncut Reaction!

Comments

I love it when James comes across something I haven't watched as well.

Simson Ward

Right! My apologies. I forgot about that one. I enjoyed it. You can stream it on Prime or Paramount. 💖

Linda

I finally watched this for the first time too!! Amazing film and now I can't wait for the 2nd one

Marlon Brando last film appearance was The Score 2001, I've never actually seen it but it does have some decent reviews so probably worth checking out

Matt

Marlon Brando's last performances are best left unseen. His career never recovered after The Island of Dr. Moreau: "it killed original director Richard Stanley’s career for a solid two decades, precipitated Val Kilmer’s expulsion from the A-list, and cemented Brando as a laughingstock during his twilight years..." It was a sad end to a great actor's career and legacy. I prefer to remember him in the before time.

Linda

Sadly, it was highly fictionalized.

Linda

The baby Kay was holding is Sofia Coppola, director of Lost in Translation.

Maybe instead of telling you about the behind the scenes of this film maybe we should show it to you instead. Paramount + actually did an amazingly well done miniseries that was about the making of the first Godfather. The show is called The Offer on Paramount +. Stars Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy and Dan Fogler as Frances Ford Coppola. Story of the making of the Godfather is just as great as the film itself.

Cody Price

You HAVE to watch the trilogy now. It’s just an amazing character arc. And the Godfather II is one of those few perfect films ever made.

Don “The Legend” Chambers

Yeah, this is set in the mid 40s after WW2.

Linda

A f*cking masterpiece. OMG. My heart. I'll never get over that slow push into Michael as we realize that moment he becomes The Godfather. 🔥🔥🔥

Linda

This makes me want to see you react to The Island of Dr Moreau with Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer. It's one of Brandos last films and is notorious for their on set arguments and and the crazy behinds the scenes demands of Brando. It's a really wild, strange good/bad movie that would make for a hilarious reaction.

Rant Casey

😂😂

James Adams

You've made me an offer I can't refuse

Matt

My wish came true!
