2023-12-01 12:23:07 +0000 UTCAlso two thriller from the 70s might checkout is the disaster thrillers, The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno. Both were nominated for Best picture and multiple Oscar nominations and wins. What makes these disaster films a masterpieces is they are not just only plot driven special effects and stunt extravaganzas but both films take their time and give their main characters their own individual arcs and are very character driven films as well and every main character gets their moment to shine in the film. I highly recommend them.
