2025-05-18 11:45:18 +0000 UTCI’m sorry but I feel like Matt is eating the hasbara. No, Trump isn’t a friend of the Palestinians, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still be tired of Netanyahu. That they are still friends is literally the hasbara they are spreading right now. Trump is only friends with people he can benefit from and right now israel is in the way of him getting the completion of the Abraham accords. I don’t think that israel is secretly in on these deals because the deal Trump made with the Houthis is that they won’t attack US ships and the US won’t bomb them. The Houthis can still attack israel and I believe they still are. How would that be something israel is in on? Also, the US is talking to Hamas directly and it’s clearly pissing off the israelis. The guy who brokered the deal, spoke on television the other day and talked about how nice Hamas was. They are also going to talk directly with Witkoff. Jeremy Scahill just interviewed Hamas and he believes Trump is more into his own game than playing zionist. Trump wants to be the king deal maker here and I’m going to believe Jeremy.
