This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first three seasons are my favorite because the character work with Jimmy and Chuck and their relationship is some of the best I've ever seen. The ending is so harrowing. I think it was clear to people who are familiar with mental illness that Chuck was really setting himself up for failure with his quick progress and unrealistic expectations. The ups and downs and long, hard work of trying to heal is brutally realistic.
