I agreed with all your notes about the theme, the ending and who's story should have been the focus. I like this movie a lot but those changes would have made it great.

All are brilliant: Yellowstone (a modern day western starring Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly), Mayor of Kingstown (a crime drama starring Jeremy Renner and Diane Wiest), 1883 (a full-on western prequel to Yellowstone starring Sam Elliott and Tim McGraw), Tulsa King (a mafia dramedy starring Sylvester Stallone and Garrett Hedlund), 1923 (a sequel to 1883 and also a prequel to Yellowstone starring Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, and Timothy Dalton). He has a CIA thriller TV Show coming out this year called Lioness starring Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman and a western TV Show coming out this year based on the Bass Reaves, the African American lawman that inspired the character in The Lone Ranger, starring David Oyelowo and Dennis Quaid.
