Brilliant combo of classic SciFi story with Matrix like action. Very underrated and underappreciated film.

Equilibrium is such an underrated movie, especially for the time where action movies saturated the market. Unlike its peers at the time it used the action 100% as a means of adding flavour and character to a story. Christian Bale killed this role, his micro expressions and growth with Preston is perfection in this emotionless to feeling dynamic. Also gonna label it proto-John Wick because puppies bring out the demon in badass protagonists and because of the gun kata / gunplay.
